This is the main user interface of the reading screen of uBooks xl on the iPad. After a few seconds, the top and bottom toolbars both disappear and you have no distractions from what you are reading. There is also an option to hide the iPad status bar if you like. The top toolbar shows you the book title, author, and your reading position, and provides buttons for accessing settings, book information, and search. The slider changes your position in the book. The bottom toolbar buttons are (left to right) library, day/night toggle, contents/bookmarks, font and text size, screen brightness, and auto-scroll. Tapping brightness or auto-scroll displays the slider for adjusting these.
